Sara is a third-year Biological Sciences major at UCD. Outside of Conference, she is an HPA peer advisor, an active member of the pre-health sorority on campus Kappa Gamma Delta, and a certified EMT. In her free time, she enjoys going to the gym and hanging out or studying with her friends and housemates.

As Interactive Programming Coordinator, what is your goal for this year's Conference? 

My goal as Interactive Programming Coordinator is to make sure there are Interactive workshops for a wide range of pre-health fields. I want to try and create a schedule where many pre-health careers are represented. I also want to make sure more people can attend the Interactive workshops this year.

What do you look forward to the most this Conference?

I look forward to seeing all of the team’s hard work come together in October. I also look forward to bonding with the team and learning from our past mistakes to make this Conference even better than last year.

What advice do you have for attendees?

The advice I have for attendees is to make the most out of the Conference and try and go every year! Conference is what you make of it. You will learn a lot by going to the Pre-Health fair and the workshops. You’ll also be able to practice your networking skills. Conference has something for every step in your pre-health journey and by going every year, you’ll be able to learn more every time!
