General Questions
- Can I register on the day of the conference?
- No, we will not have on-site registration available. We encourage attendees to register early to secure a spot. In 2025, tickets sold out and no and no waitlist was offered.
- What Health Professions will be included in the fair?
- We aim to include as many health professions as possible. For reference, the 2025 Pre-Health Fair featured medicine, chiropractic, dentistry, nursing, occupational therapy, optometry, pharmacy, physical therapy, physician assistant, podiatry, veterinary medicine, public health, and more. The final list for 2026 has not yet been confirmed.
- Can high school students attend?
- We appreciate the interest from high school students; however, the conference is not open to minors due to updates to UC Davis’ Youth Protection Program. We apologize for any inconvenience.
High school students interested in healthcare are encouraged to attend the High School Pre-Health Symposium hosted by UC Davis Health Professions Advising in the spring. - Does this event happen in inclement weather?
- Yes, the Pre-Health Conference will take place regardless of weather conditions. Please plan your attire and attendance accordingly.
Attendee Questions
- How do I register for the conference?
The 2026 Attendee Registration Page will be available on the Attendee Page, where you can find details regarding location, timing, and pricing once registration opens.
All registration must be completed online; on-site registration will not be available.
- What does the cost of registration include?
- Registered attendees will receive a name badge at check-in and have access to all conference events, including the breakfast, morning welcome session, Pre-Health Fair, and workshop sessions.
Please note that lunch is not included in the conference ticket. Attendees may bring their own lunch or visit nearby restaurants and eateries. Lunch options will be shared closer to the event. - What is the format of the conference this year?

- How can I plan my day at the conference and what type of questions should I ask?
- To make the most of your experience, we recommend:
-Review the schedule: Go through the program ahead of time and identify exhibitors and workshops aligned with your goals.
-Be prepared: Come with specific questions to stay focused and engaged.
-Take notes: Document key insights during sessions for future reference.
-Participate actively: Engage in discussions and ask questions.
-Network: Connect with speakers, exhibitors, and fellow attendees for mentorship and insight. - Can I view the program and workshop schedule before the conference? When will it be published?
- The attendee resources page will be updated regularly with exhibitors and workshop information. The full program will be emailed to registered attendees prior to the conference and also provided in printed form on the conference day.
- How should I dress for the event?
- Business casual is recommended along with comfortable walking shoes. Please note that October temperatures in Davis typically range from 72-84°F. The Pre-Health Fair will be held outdoors on a grass field, so please check the weather before attending.
- Do I need to register for a specific workshop beforehand?
- It depends on the workshop type.
-Didactic workshops (panels, presentations, etc.) are open seating and operate on a first-come, first-serve basis.
-Interactive workshops (hands-on activities like suturing, CPR, etc.) have limited capacity and require advance sign-ups. Details will be shared with registered attendees. - How do I navigate UC Davis campus on the day of the event?
- A campus map can be used to help you navigate UC Davis on the day of the event. Ambassadors will also be available throughout the day to assist with directions and answer any questions.
Group Questions
- How do I register a group for the conference?
- Group Registration is now open. To register your group for the conference, please use the link here: Group Registration
Group registration is available for a minimum of 15 tickets. Additional student and advisor/counselor tickets can be added as needed. - What does the cost of registration include?
- Registered attendees will receive a name badge upon check-in and will have access to all events on conference day, including breakfast, the morning welcome session, Pre-Health Fair, and workshop sessions.
Please note that lunch is not included in the conference ticket. Groups are responsible for lunch arrangements by, either by bringing their own lunch or visiting nearby restaurants and eateries. Lunch options will be shared closer to the event. - How do students use a group registration code?
- Once your group is registered and payment is received, you will receive a unique group code specific to your organization. You are responsible for sharing this code with students in your group.
Individual students and advisors/counselors will register through the Attendee Registration page by entering their email address and group code. This allows them to register without entering payment information. - What if I do not need 15 tickets for my group?
- The minimum group size is 15 students. Any unused group tickets are non-refundable.
Your organization will forfeit any unused group registrations not assigned to individuals by Sunday, 10/11/2026. There will be no on-site registration, and attendees without a badge will not be permitted to participate. - Do groups receive lunch with group registration?
- No, group registration does not include lunch. It is the responsibility of the group or individuals to coordinate lunch arrangements.
On campus lunch options the day of the conference include food trucks near Hutchinson Field and the Segundo Dining Commons. Off campus dining options and delivery are also available.

- How do I become an exhibitor?

- When is registration available and how do I register?
- Registration is now open for the 2026 Pre-Health Conference at UC Davis. Please visit the Exhibitor Registration Page for more information on how to register.
- When is the last date to register as an exhibitor for the conference?
- The last day to purchase non-standard packages is 09/04/26, and the last day to purchase standard packages is 09/17/26. We recommend registering as soon as possible, as packages are not held. Early Registeration also ensures that all marketing assets can be collected on time.
- How can I make changes to my registration?
To edit your registration follow the steps below:
i. Go to the Exhibitor Registration Page
ii. Click "Modify Registration"
iii. Enter your email and reference number (found in your confirmation email).Note: Personal information can be updated; however, purchases cannot be modified. To change your payment method, you will need to cancel your current registration and re-register. For more details, please refer to the cancellation policy on the Exhibitor Registration Page.
- I can no longer attend the conference. Can I receive a refund if I cancel my registration?
- A partial refund may be issued. Please email [email protected] by 09/04/26 to request a cancellation.
- Can you issue me an invoice?
- Yes, please send an invoice request to [email protected].
- What are the different payment options available?
For Standard and Bronze packages, payment must be made by credit card.
For all other packages, payment may be made by either check or credit card.

- The Exhibitor Packages webpage contains information about the different packages offered. Please select the package that best suits your institute’s needs.
- Can I register as one school for multiple programs?
- Yes. Since the field layout is organized by individual health professions, you may purchase multiple exhibitor packages for your institution. Each package must be registered separately to specify the health field associated with that booth or table. This ensures accurate placement and coordination. Institutions with Gold or higher-tier packages may represent multiple health fields at a single booth due to their larger size and placement priority.
- Can we purchase multiple packages? Do we pay for them individually or all together?
- Yes, you may purchase multiple packages. Each package must be registered and paid for separately.
- Are there any hotels nearby for us to check out?
- Yes, the Exhibitor Registration Page includes a “Local Accommodations” section with information on hotels in Davis, including locations and rates.
- Can I add or bring additional representatives with me on the day of the conference?
- We are unable to accommodate additional representative beyond what is included in your selected package. Please choose the package that best meets your organization's needs.

Q: Do I need to bring a tent?
A: No, tents are provided as part of your purchased package.Q: What are the times for the Pre-Health Fair?
A: The Pre-Health Fair takes place from 9:00am-12:00pm. The remaining time is used for workshops and presentations. Please refer to the conference day schedule for more details.
Q: What time can we start engaging with attendees at our exhibitor booth?
A: Exhibiting will begin at 9:00am, after the Welcome Session concludes.Q: Where can I send our items?
A: You may mail materials in advance. Items should arrive starting three weeks prior to the conference due to limited storage space.

Workshop Questions
- What are Didactic Workshops?
- Didactic workshops provide attendees with an opportunity to learn more about healthcare, potential careers within it, and the pathways to each profession. You can expect a wide range of topics. More information about workshop topics and schedules will be released closer to the conference date.
- What kinds of Didactic Workshops will be at the conference?
- Didactic workshops will primarily take one of two formats: lecture-style presentations or question-and-answer panels.
- What are Interactive Workshops?
- Interactive workshops are hands-on skills development and practice sessions led by health professionals. Examples include CPR training, suturing, and case-based discussions.
- How will I be able to attend workshops?
- Didactic workshops will be open to all registered attendees on a first-come, first-serve basis. The workshop schedule is strategically designed to maximize attendee experience, with in-demand topics placed in larger spaces. Popular sessions are hosted in large lecture halls; however, we strongly encourage arriving early, as seating is first-come, first-serve basis.
Interactive workshops have limited capacity due to required supplies and/or higher levels of interaction with speakers. Attendees will have the opportunity to secure interactive tickets prior to the conference. - Where will workshops be located?
- Workshops are located throughout lecture halls and classrooms across the UC Davis campus. Please refer to the program map or use GPS apps to navigate campus.
- How do I prepare for workshops?
- When the schedule is released, we strongly encourage attendees to plan their day in advance and select one or two workshops per hour that they are interested in attending. A printed program will also be provided at check-in.

- How do I navigate the CES Portal to sign up for interactive tickets?
- How to sign up for interactive tickets:

- No, interactive ticket registration begins once attendee registration closes.
- Do I need an interactive ticket to participate in Interactive Workshops?
- Yes, due to space limitations, only attendees with interactive tickets can attend these workshops.
- Is there a limit on the number of Interactive Workshops I can attend?
- Yes, to accommodate as many attendees as possible, each attendee is limited to one interactive workshop ticket.
- Are interactive tickets free?
- Yes, interactive tickets are included in your conference registration. However, they are limited and not every attendee is guaranteed a ticket. Once registration closes, you will receive an email with instructions on how to register for your interactive ticket.
- What if I am late to the Conference and miss interactive ticket handouts?
- All tickets not claimed by the end of the Welcome Session will be distributed on a first-come, first-serve basis. Please ensure you arrive on time to secure your interactive ticket.
- What if there are extra interactive tickets left?
- If tickets remain after registration closes, they will be distributed on a first-come, first-serve basis after the Welcome Session. Directions will be announced during the Welcome Session.
Speaker Questions
- How can I sign up to be a speaker?
- If you are interested in signing up as a speaker or would like to host your own workshop, please refer to the Speakers page.
- What can speakers do?
- Speakers have the opportunity to host a workshop or speak on a panel. While the exact topic may vary, these sessions generally help inform attendees about a health field or practice skills relevant to their professional development.
- Are speakers assigned workshops or can they decide their own workshop?
- Speakers are encouraged to complete the Speaker Interest Form. The Conference Programming Team will review submissions and work with speakers to determine the topic that is the best fit for them.
