Rama Parasar is a 2nd year Biological Sciences major who is currently on the pre-med track. She currently works at the student disability center on campus. Her hobbies include gaming, cooking, and playing tennis. In her free time, she likes to take nature walks in the arboretum.

What is your goal for this year's Conference?

My goal for this year's conference is to make sure that Conference has greater diversity in terms of exhibitors. This gives attendees the chance to explore a wider range of healthcare fields/programs that they had never looked into before the conference.

What advice do you have for attendees?

My advice for attendees would be to do research and generate a list of questions that you could ask the admissions officers of the different schools you are interested in. This gives you the chance to initiate a conversation and create a positive impression. In addition, take advantage of the number of resources that are offered at the largest pre-health conference in the nation. This is a once in a year opportunity!
