Mali is a third year pharmaceutical chemistry major, and she is a pre-dentistry student. Fun fact: she was a pre-pharmacy student before, but then she decided to switch to dentistry. Besides Pre Health Conference, she is involved in Paul Hom Asian Clinic and Oral Health Society. In her free time, she loves to play badminton and basketball, and watch Formula 1. 

What is your goal for this year's Conference?

My goal is to help students who are currently thinking about whether they want to pursue careers in healthcare or not. I used to be one of them, so I understand the struggle of knowing what to do moving forward. I want to let those students know about the Pre Health Conference and support them as they explore their own pre-health fields.

What advice do you have for attendees?

No more hesitation! Join this year! Even if all you are doing at the conference is exploring, you will surely learn something. We have so many workshops and booths waiting for you to explore. My other advice is to prepare as many high quality questions as possible to ask the admissions officers. You will either learn more about the schools and your pre-health field, or they will remember you by asking good questions to them.
