As Co-Didactic Programming Coordinator, what is your goal for this year's Conference?

During this year's conference, I hope to facilitate a collaborative environment for attendees to pursue their professional goals. With representation from over twenty health professions, I hope the conference exposes attendees to new fields and perspectives, refining the way they view healthcare. Our goal is for this experience to be memorable for all parties involved, whether it be a nontraditional student who just started their journey or an admissions expert who's attended the conference for years.

What do you look forward to the most this Conference?

I look forward to diversifying the opportunities that we offer so attendees feel represented in their interests. For attendees that need extra support on their professional journeys, I hope the conference's resources prove insightful for them. Additionally, I look forward to working within a tight-knit community of student volunteers to plan the conference.

What advice do you have for attendees?

I recommend that attendees take advantage of opportunities to speak with admissions experts and other pre-health students. Some of our attendees have been offered interviews after sharing their stories with deans of admission. You never know if an experience you have at our conference could have long-term effects on your career.
