Abinaya is a second year, NPB major. She is passionate about helping others within the healthcare field and aspires to be a physician in the future. Outside of the conference, Abinaya enjoys reading books, playing badminton, crocheting, and playing instruments.

What is your goal for this year's Conference?

My goal for this year's conference is to make conference a informational and fun experience. I would love for attendees to be able to gain additional knowledge about healthcare and divergent career options offered. I hope that conference is a memorable and useful experience, allowing students to gain a better understanding for their future career goals. 

What advice do you have for attendees?

One advice I have for attendees is to explore! There are many different types of workshops offered and numerous booths in the pre-health fair to explore around and take note of. Don't be shy to approach professionals or other pre-health volunteers as everyone is there to help you out. The Pre-Health Conference is one of the largest in the nation and while it may seem overwhelming at first to take in the large scale of the conference, don't be afraid to utilize the resources offered at conference. Lastly, make sure to keep your mind open when exploring because you never know what might spark your interest.
